SUMMARY:Asia Pacific Youth IGF 2026 Kathmandu
DESCRIPTION:Asia Pacific Youth Internet Governance Forum (yIGF.Asia) is an 
 annual meeting and open platform\, recognized by the United Nations Interne
 t Governance Forum (IGF)\, to empower young leaders aged between 18 and 35 
 to participate in Internet governance discussions. The forum was first init
 iated by NetMission.Asia in 2010 and continues to be held annually in conju
 nction with the Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF).\n
 \n\n\nThis year\, yIGF.Asia 2026 will take place as a two-day hybrid event 
 from Oct 3 to Oct 4\, 2026. Bringing together young leaders\, policymakers\
 , technical experts\, civil society representatives\, and other Internet go
 vernance stakeholders from across the Asia-Pacific region\, the forum will 
 provide a platform for dialogue\, learning\, and collaboration on the futur
 e of the digital ecosystem.\n\n\n\nUnder the theme “From Users to Stakeho
 lders: Youth Shaping Resilient and Rights-Based Digital Futures\,” yIGF 2
 026 highlights the evolving role of youth in shaping the Internet and digit
 al governance processes. As digital technologies continue to transform soci
 eties and economies\, young people are increasingly impacted by decisions r
 elated to digital rights\, online safety\, artificial intelligence\, and di
 gital inclusion\, yet their voices remain underrepresented in many decision
 -making spaces.\n\n\n\nAligned with regional discussions on strengthening I
 nternet resilience\, yIGF 2026 will provide a platform for youth to explore
  how resilience\, inclusion\, and human rights can be advanced in an evolvi
 ng digital landscape. Through capacity-building sessions\, intergenerationa
 l dialogue\, and collaborative discussions\, participants will engage with 
 issues surrounding AI governance\, information integrity\, meaningful conne
 ctivity\, digital inclusion\, online safety and crisis preparedness\, while
  exploring how diverse voices can contribute to more inclusive and accounta
 ble digital governance.\n\n\n\nAt yIGF 2026\, we recognize youth not only a
 s users of the Internet\, but as stakeholders in its future. Join us to str
 engthen youth leadership\, advance collaborative digital governance\, and e
 nsure that the future of the Internet is shaped with youth\, not merely for
