Welcome! This page has everything you need to know to get ready for the Asia Pacific Youth IGF 2025.
Step 1. Register to attend APrIGF 2025 Workshops
The Asia Pacific yIGF is a capacity-building program that empowers youth to join the APrIGF. All yIGF participants are encouraged to take part in APrIGF workshops and contribute to the Synthesis Document.
Please take a look at the APrIGF Program and choose the sessions you’re interested in attending during October 12-14, 2025. We’ve also highlighted some youth-focused sessions that we highly recommend. You can find the recommended sessions here.
Note: A separate registration is required to attend APrIGF 2025 workshops, both in person and online. Register now.
Step 2. Prepare for discussions
We’re building genuine intergenerational collaboration by giving young voices the tools, space, and agency to shape digital policy. To make the most of this, we’ve planned interactive sessions that need your active participation, including one that will directly shape our regional youth message for the WSIS+20 Review Process.
Check out Themes & Topics and our Draft APAC Youth WSIS+20 Statement to get familiar with the formats and guiding questions before joining the discussions at the event.
Step 3. Join our orientation
An orientation webinar will be held on October 8, 2025 (Thursday) 12:00 UTC. Details will be shared with participants via email. Should you have any questions please contact us at [email protected].
Step 4. Join our WhatsApp group chat
While email will remain our primary channel for communications of key information, we will set up a WhatsApp group chat and all attendees are welcome to join. Details will be shared via email after the orientation.
Step 5. Find your event location
Prepare your laptop(s), tablet(s), or mobile phone(s) with the Internet, and test your audio before the meeting(s). We highly recommend in-person participants to bring their digital devices, since most of our activity materials and tasks are in digital format.
